Admission Criteria

At Priyadarshini College of Nursing, Kuchei – Mayurbhanj, we welcome aspiring students who are passionate about a career in nursing and committed to serving humanity with care and compassion. Our admission process follows the guidelines set by the regulatory authorities to ensure transparency, merit, and inclusivity.

🩺 B.Sc Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Duration: 4 Years | Annual Intake: 60 Seats
Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English as core subjects.
• Must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
• Candidates should be medically fit and must submit a medical fitness certificate at the time of admission.
• Must have passed from a recognized board (CHSE/CBSE/ICSE or equivalent).

👩‍⚕️ GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Duration: 3 Years | Annual Intake: 60 Seats

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 in any stream (preferably Science) from a recognized board.
• Must have secured at least 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Vocational ANM students registered with the State Nursing Council are also eligible.
• Minimum age: 17 years, Maximum age: 35 years as on 31st December of the admission year.
• Candidates must be medically fit and provide a valid medical certificate.

📑 Additional Requirements (Applicable to Both Courses)

• A recent passport-size photograph and copies of academic certificates at the time of application.
• Original documents must be presented at the time of verification/admission.
• Selection will be done strictly on a merit basis as per government and ONMEB/ONMRC guidelines.
• Reservation of seats will be as per the norms of the Government of Odisha.
